I’m Stefan Claypool, a twenty-three year old graduate of Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. I currently reside in Washington, DC, where I work as the Product Manager in the New Media division of the Republican National Committee. (Legal note: the thoughts and opinions on this page are my own, and do not reflect the positions of the Republican National Committee.)
Although I’ve been fooling around with basic web design since childhood, the formal predecessor to this particular space was launched in the fall of 2004 as a promotional tool to help demonstrate my unique skill set to prospective colleges. Once I was admitted to Middlebury, however, I converted it into a platform for my thoughts, opinions, and commentary on current events.
Despite a series of redesigns and a recent server migration and platform change, the purpose of the site remains more or less the same. On this blog you’ll find my opinions of a wide variety of topics, including current events, media, and sports. You’ll also eventually find samples of my creative writing and music compositions, as well as anything else I see fit to post. You’ll also be subjected to a ruthless barrage of ranting, raving, and rambling that could only come from the sick and twisted world of liberal arts education.
I hope you enjoy the site, and in the spirit of camaraderie and shameless self promotion, tell your friends about it!
