Christopher Nolan is obviously the best director working now, though Paul Thomas Anderson's There Will Be Blood shows a promising future. Stanley Kubrick is the all time best director in the world and I have always looked upon Nolan as our next Kubrick. He has yet to make a bad film and I expect Batman 3 to be a masterpiece as well.
